We congratulate our government on its vision and efforts to bring 24×7 electricity to all. We especially congratulate our Hon’ble Power Minister for his achievement of bringing power to every village before the 2019 elections.
AITMA is an association spread in more than 22 states, representing more than 75% of the manufacturing capacity of power and distribution transformers in India. We have members from the allied and component manufacturing industries.
We give employment to more than 100,000 workers, both directly and indirectly. AITMA has become one of the most recognized associations in our sector in a short period of years. On one side, we voice concerns about our sector’s highest level of electricity, and on the other hand, we helped members achieve their goal by ratifying every village before the 2019 election and increasing our production at very short notice.
We have worked hand in hand with the government to install higher-efficiency transformers compared to those used in the distribution systems of any other country in the world.
